This week, UNTOLD The Museum brought its story to the Palace of Westminster.
We were honoured to join a cross-party audience, hosted by Liam Conlon MP, to share the vision and ambition behind UNTOLD Stories of the Irish in the British Army.
Bringing 350 years of history, service and lived experience into the heart of Westminster was a significant moment for the project and an important opportunity to ensure these stories are recognised, remembered and valued.
A special thank you to Tonia Antoniazzi MP for her insightful and engaging remarks and to our supporters and funders, including The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Veterans’ Foundation and The Architectural Heritage Fund, whose backing continues to make this work possible.
The stories of men and women from across the island of Ireland deserve to be heard and we will continue to advocate for their place within our shared history.
